Public comment: None
Auditor’s Office updates: Grace Jimenez said July reports show stable, routine spending with no
significant changes.
Budget: Grace pointed through reports that a few funds slightly exceed the 58% year-to-date
benchmark but remain within allowable limits.
Financial Services department status update: The federal audit is wrapping up and Grace is expecting
the final results soon. The SAO exit conference is in process of being scheduled. The audit has identified
discrepancies in the investment reports. There are reconciliation issues and this could be a management
letter or a finding.
Elections department status update: Larry Grove said the primary election has been certified and that
there was a 41.52% ballot return rate. The general election will be in November.
Licensing & Recording department status update: Larry said there is a vacancy for recording.
