High ,Schooi Boys Baseball 'leant
WHEREAS, the Adna High School Boys Baseball Team is comprised of high school boys baseball
players; and
WHEREAS, the team just completed a very successful season, as the Pirates shocked Colfax,
winning first place at the State 2B Baseball Championship; and
WHEREAS, it is the first state baseball championship in program history for Adna High School
Boys Baseball Team; and
WHEREAS, the players, coaches and parents spent countless hours at practices, traveling to and
from games, supporting the team; and
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) wishes to recognize the
accomplishments and contributions of all those involved with the Adna High School Boys Baseball Team;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC commend the Adna High School Boys
Baseball Team for their winning season and publicly thank all the parents, coaches and volunteers in the
community who supported this and other youth athletic teams.

WHEREAS, the Adna High School Girls Fastpitch Team is comprised of high school girls fast
pitch players; and
WHEREAS, the team just completed a very successful season ending, by defeating the
NapavineTigers for the first state Title since 2011, winning first place at the 2B State Championship;
and
WHEREAS, the players, coaches and parents spent countless hours at practices, traveling to
and from games, supporting the team; and
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) wishes to recognize the
accomplishments and contributions of all those involved with the Adna High School Girls Fastpitch
Team.
