LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

Accepting an offer to purchase surplus property }
located on Roundtree Road, Boistfort subject to }
conditions of LCC 3.30.400 } RESOLUTION NO. 113-b77
WHEREAS, Resolution 17-257 called for sealed bids for the sale of property located on
Roundtree Road, Boistfort; and
WHEREAS, no acceptable bids were received for the property; and
WHEREAS, LCC 3.30.400 specifies that where no bid is received, the County may
withdraw the property from sale, and thereafter negotiate the sale of the withdrawn property,
providing the public is given two weeks notice by advertisement and an opportunity to compete for
more favorable price on terms negotiated; and
WHEREAS, an offer of $51,000 for the property was received and Resolution 18-048
approved sale of the property to Derek Tharp subject to conditions of LCC 3.30.400; and
WHEREAS, the public was given two weeks notice by publication and an opportunity to
submit a higher bid; and
WHEREAS, a bid for $52,000 has been received from Dennis Keller, and Mr. Keller has
signed an agreement to purchase the property; and
WHEREAS, the Keller bid at $52,000 is a higher and better bid than the previously
accepted bid of$51,000.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the offer of Derek Tharp to acquire the
property located on Roundtree Road is no longer accepted and the offer from Dennis Keller for
$52,000 is hereby approved and the Public Works Director is authorized to sign the agreement
and all other documents related to the purchase on behalf of Lewis County

NOTICE
Lewis County has received an offer to purchase property located on Roundtree Road in Section 2,
Township 12 North, Range 4 West, W.M., for $52,000. The prospective purchaser has signed an
agreement for purchase of the property and has deposited $500 earnest money. The agreement
to sell the property to Dennis Keller for $52,000 was approved by resolution subject to conditions
of LCC 3.30.400, which specifies that the County may negotiate the sale of the property, providing
the public is given two weeks notice by advertisement and an opportunity to compete for more
favorable price on terms negotiated.
