Declaration of Surplus Personal Property BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS LEWIS COUNTY,WASHINGTON IN RE: DECLARATION OF SURPLUS } PERSONAL PROPERTY } RESOLUTION NO. I " 2.5g } WHEREAS, from time to time Lewis County has personal property that is no longer needed within the County's operations, and; WHEREAS, Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30,Management and Disposition of Property requires that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC)declare such property surplus prior to disposal under said Code, and; WHEREAS,the listing of property attached as Exhibit A has been recommended as surplus to the County's needs now and in the foreseeable future by the Facilities Manager and Central Services Director; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the personal property listed in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein, has been declared surplus by the BOCC. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Facilities Division Manager is authorized to dispose of the listed items in compliance with Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30. (LCC 3.30.130(2)). In an effort to streamline the process, the Facilities division presents a quarterly list of items to the BOCC for consideration and declaration as surplus property. These items will continue to be handled in accordance with LCC 3.30 and the surplus property handling policy, previously provided. The attached Exhibit A, is a listing of items currently surplus to the County's needs. Declaring these items surplus in bulk will allow minor transfers and disposals to be effected more efficiently and offer better service to the County and other agencies utilizing this surplus process.
