Project No. } HSIP-000S(478), TA-6329 } WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 17-388, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the 2018-2023 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP); and WHEREAS, Lewis County's 2017 Flexible Guidepost Project - Phase 1, CRP 2185A, F.A. Project No. HSIP-000S(478) is listed as a priority project on the 2018-2023 Six-Year TIP; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to improve approximately 63 miles of roadway, in Lewis County by placing Flexible Guideposts as directed by the Engineer, and traffic control on various roads, and other work as directed by the Engineer; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 18-116, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the 2018 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction and this project shall be performed by contract in accordance with these specifications. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is instructed to issue a Call for Bids and Contract Specifications for the 2017 Flexible Guidepost Project- Phase 1, CRP 2185A, F.A. Project No. HSIP-000S(478). Bids for this project shall be submitted to the Clerk of the Board of Lewis County Commissioners (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, Washington 98532) by or before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, and will be opened on or after 11:00 a.m. on September 4, 2018, subject to official project addenda that establishes an alternate bid due date or opening time.
