WHEREAS, there is a need to hold a public hearing for the purpose of amending the 2018
budget for Current Expense and various funds; and
WHEREAS, all those wishing to speak for or against the amendment shall be afforded the
opportunity to be heard. Said amendment will be available to review and can be obtained from
the Board of County Commissioners' (BOCC) Office. Written comments may be submitted to
the BOCC prior to or during said hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing will be held before the Lewis
County BOCC in the Historical Courthouse, 351 N.W. North Street, Chehalis, Washington, on
the 24th day of September 2018. The hearing will be held on or after 10:00 a.m. to consider an
amendment to various departments within the 2018 budget for Current Expense and various
funds, increasing expenditures in the amount of $1,089,119, offset with an increase in revenue
in the amount of$245,573, and use of fund balance of $843,546.

Before the
LEWIS COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Lewis County Board of
Commissioners (BOCC) in the Historical Courthouse, 351 NW North Street, Chehalis, Washington,
on the 24th day of September 2018. The hearing will be held on or after 10:00 a.m. to consider
an amendment to departments within the 2018 budget for Current Expense and various funds.
All those wishing to speak for or against the amendment shall be afforded the opportunity to be
heard. This amendment proposes increasing expenditures for various funds and the General
fund in the amount of $1,089,119, increasing revenue in the amount of $245,573 and use of
estimated ending fund balance of $843,546.
The General fund portion of the budget amendment is an increase in expenditures in the
amount of $55,647, an increase in revenue of$32,803 and a use of fund balance of$22,844.
Said amendment can be obtained from the Budget Department, Room 209 - 351 N.W. North St. -
