Negotiating Contracts to award DD Millage funds
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN RE: Approve Negotiating Contracts to award DD ) Millage funds to Local Agencies ) Resolution No. 18- a'q d WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has approved awarding funds from Developmental Disabilities Millage to local agencies for community-based projects that support individuals with developmental disabilities for persons and/or families of Lewis County; AND WHEREAS, funding for four agencies for a total amount of $40,000 will be effective from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019; AND WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize negotiations of said contracts for Lewis County; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC of Lewis County authorizes staff to negotiate contracts with appropriate local agencies for community based projects that support individuals with developmental disabilities for persons and/or families of Lewis County, for a total amount of $40,000 from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 and then to bring such contracts to the BOCC for its approval. fltk DONE IN OPEN SESSION this d`i day of tl`- f -fmt.94-' , 2018. Six agencies submitted proposals. After much deliberation, the committee determined which programs should be funded. This resolution requests negotiating contracts with the following: InTot Developmental Center for$8,000, Reliable Enterprises for$20,574, Lewis County Autism Coalition for$4,900, and Centralia College for$6,526 for a total of$40,000.
