APPROVING A STATE-MANDATED ) Resolution No. 18- 3”
SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR THE PROSECUTOR )
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners sets the salary for the
Prosecuting Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the State of Washington contributes independently to the
Prosecuting Attorney's salary; and
WHEREAS, the state has increased its contribution to the Prosecutor's salary
during the 2018 calendar year; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Prosecutor's salary will be
adjusted to reflect the increase by the state effective September 1, 2018.

Description
The state has increased its portion of salary for the Prosecutor in accordance with RCW 36.17.024. This
changes the Prosecutor's monthly salary from $11,946.96 to $12,228.96 effective September 1, 2018.
