Statement of Project Goals and Objectives: Discover Lewis County's purpose is to highlight the four regions of Lewis County helping visitors to find adventure opportunities, cultural institutions, unique local events, scenic road-trips, lodging & so much more. Our goals is to encourage tourism to the entirety of Lewis County with the objective of guest staying the night, resulting in"heads in beds". 10. Project Description: For 2019, DLC is requesting funds to continue to market Lewis County through social media, print, radio &theatre channels; reproduce and distribute promotional materials created thus far, maintain county-wide kiosks, and create twelve (30 second) &four(60 second) regional marketing videos. The DLC videos will be created to support and highlight our current print and digital materials. 11. How does proposed project meet purposes of the Legislation? RCW 67.28.1816 We are now living in the"age of video"for tourism marketing and the DLC proposed regional videos will enhance our marketing presence by driving stronger engagement on the web site and social media by creating an emotional connection with the viewer through videos. Driving traffic through videos to DLC's user friendly website allows visitors to learn about the many overnight stay options that result in "heads in beds" in Lewis County. 12.
