Amendments to project agreement with Recreation and Conservation Office, fish passage restoration projects
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF. } Approving five Amendments to Project Agreements between } Resolution No 19-10(-1 Lewis County and the Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) } for fish passage restoration projects } WHEREAS, Public Works has listed fish passage restoration projects on the maintenance program and WHEREAS, the following projects have agreements between Lewis County and RCO for funding Berwick Creek Barrier Removal and Realignment, RCO #17-1148P, CMP 1805 (Logan Hill Road MP 0 103) Frase Creek Fish Barrier Removal. WDFW requires streambed mix used in design to be well-graded not a layer of coarse material below the streambed mix Special Condition. Sponsor will assure that the new channel addresses the natural water surface drop by showing water surface drop on design plans and assessing or modelling any significant aggradation prior to construction If significant aggradation is observed as a part of this assessment and could impact fish passage, then consult with WDFW on strategies to ensure fish passage around this natural feature Special Condition. Final designs completed to Manual 18 Appendix D-3 specifications must be submitted to RCO and approved by WDFW staff prior to implementing construction activities Special Condition.
