The temporary closure of a portion of
Silverbrook Road to all through traffic } RESOLUTION NO
WHEREAS, RCW 47 48 010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads
for a period of time, and
WHEREAS, Lewis County will be improving a portion of Silverbrook Road between the
Silverbrook Road Highway 12 Connector East and Slagle Road, and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close Silverbrook between Silverbrook Road Highway 12
Connector East and Slagle Road to all through traffic during the period of such project work, and
WHEREAS Silverbrook Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not
beyond the project area and other roads are available for detour
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47 48 010 and 020,
beginning September 9, 2019 and ending November 1, 2019, Silverbrook Road between the
Silverbrook Road Highway 12 Connector East and Slagle Road, in Sections 8 and 9, Township 12
North, Range 7 East, W M , shall be closed to all through traffic

NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners, Lewis County,
Washington, has approved the temporary closure of a portion of Silverbrook Road
between the Silverbrook Road Highway 12 connector East and Slagle Road, to all
through traffic During the closure the road will remain open to local access from either
end up to but not beyond the project area, and other roads are available for detour
Pursuant to RCW 47 48 010 and 020, effective September 9, 2019 through November 1,
2019 that Silverbrook Road described above in Sections 8 and 9, Township 12 North,
Range 7 East, W M , shall be closed to all through traffic
