LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

The extended closure of Logan Hill }
Road to all through traffic } RESOLUTION NO 1 q-a4D
WHEREAS, RCW 47 48.010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads
for a period of time, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for Lewis County to repair a slide area on Logan Hill Road at
milepost 0.49, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No 19-174 closed Logan Hill Road between Jackson Highway and
Yates Road to all through traffic, and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary to extend the closure of Logan Hill Road between Jackson
Highway and Yates Road to all through traffic due to unforeseen construction issues, and
WHEREAS, Logan Hill Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not
beyond the point of closure at milepost 0 49 and other county roads are available for detour
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47 48.010 and 020,
beginning August 31, 2019 and ending September 14, 2019, Logan Hill Road between Jackson
Highway and Yates Road, in Section 12, Township 13 North, Range 2 West, W M , shall be closed
to all through traffic

Description
Lewis County has been repairing a slide area on Logan Hill Road at milepost 0.49 and it was necessary to close
Logan Hill Road with Resolution 19-174 to all through traffic during the period of repair to the slide area. Due
to some unforeseen construction issues it will be necessary to extend the Logan Hill Rd Closure. This resolution
would,pursuant to RCW 47 48 010 and 020, extend the closure of Logan Hill Road to through traffic between
Jackson Highway and Yates Road in Section 12, Township 13 North, Range 2 West, W M., beginning August
31, 2019 and ending September 14, 2019
