Matt Matayoshi said he is working on a legislative agenda. He said he would be asking for $4.5 million
for the Packwood sewer project, which would serve 30 or so connections. He said the drain field can be
located within the flood plain.
Matt said he will include the Winlock Benaroya project. He said he suggested Winlock apply for a loan
and then ask for .09 funding. Matt said Cardinal Glass still owes the city a well.
Susan DeLaire joined at 3:36 p.m.
He said the agenda will include a $600,000 request for the Packwood FEMA floodplain study and map
revisions.
Matt said he’ll also request $8 million for the Rush Road interchange project.
Matt said he anticipates receiving a Distressed Counties application that he’ll need to have the PA’s
Office review.
Matt said the EDC has another “Smart Tank” event planned.
Matt said the port is working with two potential developers. He said a biotech company is working with
the PUD. He said he would suggest using $150,000 or so from .09 to help with infrastructure.
Matt said the EDC banquet is Feb. 21 at Jester’s.

The group discussed the loss of Fred Meyer as a Centralia Station developer.
