Commissioner Fund made a motion to add to the day’s BOCC Legislative meeting the following three
resolutions: Notice of hearing for a 2018 budget amendment, Notice of hearing for Ordinance 1295A
and an amendment to the Naphcare contract for Medication Assisted Treatment.
Commissioner Jackson seconded.
Motion passed 2-0.
Commissioner Fund made a motion to change the resolution appointing Diana Morgan to LTAC to also
include Dean Croshaw’s appointment. Commissioner Jackson seconded.
Motion passed 2-0.
Danette York discussed millage funds that the Public Health and Social Services Advisory Board has
reviewed for allocation. She said the resolutions will come before the board.
Danette left at 9:05 a.m.
Lara McRea said the NACO membership totals $1,509.
The group discussed a letter of support regarding charging stations.
Commissioner Fund said the recent Army Corps of Engineers meeting seemed productive. She said the
Corps specifically applauded Lewis County’s work on permits.
Commissioner Fund gave a brief update on bills at the state Legislature.
Commissioner Stamper joined at 9:08 a.m.
Commissioner Fund said she would be at WSAC beginning Wednesday.
Commissioner Fund discussed her recent media consultation with WSAC. She said the big push was to
tag people and add photos.
Eric Eisenberg left at 9:19 a.m.
The group reviewed the committees / appointments list.
Commissioner Fund suggested reaching out to Danette about the Area Agency on Aging.
Commissioner Stamper suggested asking Erik Martin to review with directors the committee list. He said
he would contact Bill Sullivan regarding PacMountain.
Lee Grose expressed an interest in joining the Planning Commission.
Commissioner Fund said she would work on the Great Rivers appointment.
Candy left at 9:36 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper said he too supports sending a letter of support regarding the charging stations.
Becky Butler noted that the upcoming 2018 budget amendment hearing is in response to the Coroner
going over his budget by $10,167.
Commissioner Fund said the PUD sent Lewis County a thank you for the county’s storm efforts.
Lee Grose discussed the weed ordinance. He said he is against the idea of creating an additional position
for compliance.
