2019-03-18 BOCC Wrap UpBOCC Wrap-Up March 18, 2019 9:01 a.m. Present: Commissioner Jackson, Commissioner Fund, County Manager Erik Martin, Becky Butler, Eric Eisenberg Guests: Dr. Lindsey Pollock, Alex Brown, Lee Grose Recorder: Rieva Lester Commissioner Fund made a motion to add the shared services agreement to the agenda for the day’s legislative meeting. Commissioner Jackson seconded. Motion passed 2-0. The commissioners said they would await Commissioner Stamper’s return to review the applications received for the various vacancies. DPA Eric Eisenberg discussed a letter to the Department of Revenue regarding the BOCC’s procedures for certifying levies to the Assessor’s Office. Eric said the DOR could contact the State Auditor’s Office if it finds a hiccup in the process. Commissioner Fund and Commissioner Jackson agreed to sign the letter to the DOR. Eric and Erik Martin left at 9:17 a.m. Commissioner Fund gave a brief Legislative update on bills about topics such as public disclosure metrics, the GMA, tiny homes, food waste, plastic bags, plastic straws, tobacco, stormwater and ballot boxes. Erik Martin returned at 9:24 a.m. Becky Butler said the Department of Retirement Services received a public records request for the first and last names and monthly payment totals for all retirees and will be releasing the information at the end of the week. Meeting ended at 9:30 a.m.
