Josh Metcalf discussed a call for bids for various new SUVs, trucks and equipment. Josh Metcalf discussed a call for sealed bids for the Highway Safety Improvement Program, Phase II, Federal Aid Project No. HSIP-000S(479), F.A. Contract No. TA-6330, CRP No. 2185B. Steve Walton and Doug Carey discussed a resolution to award the contract for the Historic Courthouse Masonry Restoration Project, Project #31-1803. Josh Metcalf discussed authorizing an application for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) General Purpose Grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce and assign the Director of Public Works as the Authorized Representative. Josh Metcalf discussed extending the end date on the Vader Water Fund 420 Cash-Flow Loan. He said it will cover payments until the reimbursement money arrives. Becky Butler discussed setting the dates for the annual budget process of Lewis County. Rieva Lester discussed listing the bids received and newspaper selected for Lewis County legal printing for July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020. Commissioner Stamper made a motion to move three Notice items, two Consent items and five Deliberation items to the Monday, March 27, BOCC agenda. Commissioner Fund seconded the motion. Motion passed 3-0. Roundtable Rieva Lester noted she would be out of the office until April 8. Daleyn Coleman discussed upcoming ADA and admin training. Steve Walton said the staff elevator should be repaired by the end of the week. He discussed the recent installation of safety doors. Linda Williams joined at 9:16 a.m. Becky Butler said Munis report training is set for later in the week. She said the first 2019 amendment will be April 22. Danette York discussed a new environmental specialist. Steve Wohld discussed a recent cyberattack. He also discussed the installation of new fiber. Wayne Whiton discussed his attendance at a recent Risk conference. Lee Napier discussed the Streamflow Restoration Act regarding wells and streamflow mitigation. She said Lewis, Thurston, Mason and Cowlitz counties are working on watershed plans. Josh Metcalf said WSAC is going to do an inventory of all culverts across the state. Josh said the Borst Avenue project will go out to bid soon. He said the county needs only one more property owner approval for the North Fork project. Erik Martin urged directors to congratulate Rachel Hunt on her acceptance to law school. Commissioner Fund and Commissioner Stamper gave an update on matters before the state Legislature. Josh discussed FEMA alternate funding available related to the Toledo Salmon Creek wash-out. Archie Smith joined at 9:45 a.m. Meeting ended at 9:45 a.m.
