The group discussed Criminal Justice Treatment Account (CJTA) funding.
Danette York said her recommendation would be to have Lewis County receive the CJTA funding instead
of having the Behavioral Health Organization (BHO) receive it. She said the county needs to alert the
Health Care Authority of its decision by May 6.
Commissioner Fund made a motion to have Lewis County be the recipient of the CJTA funding – instead
of the BHO – beginning in July 2019.
Commissioner Stamper seconded.
Motion passed 2-0.
Danette said she would work to have a resolution ready for May 6.
