Matt received one application for .09 from the City of Winlock.
Matt informed the BOCC that EDC is talking with UNFI and UNFI has started their hiring process.
EDC held a Smart Tank workshop at Centralia College. Matt felt it was a good entrepreneur workshop.
Matt stated that Transalta is now 49% owner in the Skookumchuck Wind Energy project.
Matt updated the BOCC on the McBride Court Phase 2 .09 project that was awarded to the Port of
Chehalis in 2018. The building is on schedule and should be complete by the end of the year.
Matt said the economy is still going strong.
The next EDC general membership meeting will be June 20, 2019, at the Holiday Inn Express.
Commissioner Fund thanked Matt for his work on legislative issues.
Matt stated he spoke with Benaroya last week and Benaroya is seeing interest in the property in
Winlock.
