Becky Butler said the Toledo Senior Center and the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office have reviewed and
approved of a proposed agreement.
Becky said Toledo asked that the county replace the center’s flooring or cabinets instead of installing
doors.
Doug Carey said the county has received one bid so far and that the estimate to replace the flooring
would be roughly $25,000.
Commissioner Jackson joined at 3:37 p.m.
Fred Wilson said treatment of a termite infestation in 2018 led to a hole in a wall near the kitchen.
Commissioner Stamper made a motion to approve the settlement agreement between Lewis County
and the Toledo Senior Center.
Commissioner Fund seconded.
Motion passed 3-0.
The commissioners authorized Erik Martin and Steve Walton to move forward on the building
improvements.
Mona Rae Fish said the Lewis County Seniors Board agreement was not involved in the decision because
the nonprofit was formed after the overpayment took place.
