Commissioner Fund seconded.

Commissioner Fund said she has been fielding calls regarding fireworks.
Erik Martin said it didn’t sound like any of the Board of Equalization members were in favor of changing
the BOE appeal deadline back to 30 days instead of 60. He recommended reviewing it again the
following year.
Commissioner Jackson directed Rieva Lester to draft a memo to the Assessor’s Office indicating the
BOCC would leave the deadline unchanged for now and revisit the topic again next year. Commissioner
Stamper and Commissioner Fund agreed.
Commissioner Stamper said he has fielded several calls regarding the proposed Crystal Geyser water-
bottling plant. He said he has been invited to attend a community meeting at 6 p.m. June 26 meeting at
the Randle Fire hall.
Commissioner Fund noted that the county has not received any permit requests for the project. She
suggested urging constituents to contact Crystal Geyer’s point person.
Commissioner Jackson also requested staff provide Crystal Geyser’s contact information to constituents.
