Cullen Gatten, Steve Wohld and the commissioners discussed the pros and cons of allowing name
searches in the county’s Parcels page.
Cullen noted that the data points currently provided through Parcels are public records.
The commissioners said they feel the reason for the change doesn’t justify the change.
Commissioner Stamper left at 4:15 p.m.
Cullen discussed a possible separation of powers issue that could arise.
The commissioners said they would prefer to land on the side of transparency.
The group said they’d like to set up a follow-up meeting with the Assessor and the Treasurer.
