2020 Prelim. Budget:
• Revenue $436,900
• Expenditures $303,495
The Weed Board is now funded through assessment, having moved from general fund.
As of January, roughly 35,000 parcels have been assessed.
An expenditure item in the future is a stewardship incentive program which provides cost
sharing/reimbursement for herbicides.
Assessment is similar to neighboring counties
Olga Miller asked about enforcement costs. Compliance costs are factored into professional services.
