Ross Petersen discussed a letter and policy being drafted
regarding individuals who submit multiple public records
requests. He discussed efforts to streamline the PDR process.
Paulette Young said the hearing date for the updated policy
and fees will be set for Jan. 29. She said the state fee schedule
will be updated.
Paulette said the new county policy will be countywide
effective Jan. 29. Jonathan Meyer said other electeds can opt
to use the new policy.
Commissioner Stamper joined at 2:15 p.m.
Ross discussed the differences between “closed” and “abandoned” requests.
The group discussed the need to speak to Suzette Smith about the 10 percent down payments.
Ross discussed discretionary language to be used in the policy.
David Fine said daily Notice of Recess postings are not necessary.
At 2:44 p.m., Commissioner Fund announced that the Board was going into Executive Session under
RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 15 minutes to discuss pending litigation.
At 2:59 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 5 minutes.
At 3:04 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 5 minutes.
Executive Session ended at 3:09 p.m.
