Reporter: Archie Smith Start Time: 1545 End Time: 1720 Budget • Training Material – Need to replace First Aid material. $400 expense that is not in the budget. Will submit a budget amendment if need be. Administrative Benefits • Retirement – HR will look at retirement incentives. This is not a buyout, but an incentive with a nominal fee that employees would receive if they informed their management that they would be retiring with certain amount of notice to evaluate budget and plan for replacement. Employment Situations Union Business: • Negotiation update o PA DPA - o JVD – Ratified CBA. Policy • EHB – updates completed – Have reviewed David’s review. Will bring back an updated version and review with BOCC before resolution. Training Classification/Recruitment • Recruitment information – HR will look at another vendor and report back to BOCC. o Risk Administrator: BOCC agreed to allow position to move to halftime. Effective date TBD. Employee would be paid out notice severance in accordance with Lewis County Historic Courthouse Page 2 of 2 contract as a 1.0 FTE. County would pay for travel to and from.
