Updates and Actions: Prior to discussing the planned agenda item, Lee touched base with the commissioners about the recent Hirst Decision (ESSB 6091). Lee presented the
Board a draft press release. Lee indicated a website has been created and will
be updated continually when new information is available concerning ESSB 6091. The group discussed the importance to make the outreach to the citizens as clear as possible. 1. Planning Division
a. Comprehensive Plan update/Critical Areas Ordinance
Lee informed the commissioners about the want to clarify the regulation of the channel migration zones. Fred explained what channel migrations zones are and the different levels of severity between severe, moderate and low.
