Dusty Breen said he is working on a resolution for fingerprint machines, for which a grant was secured.
Commissioner Jackson arrived at 3:13 p.m.
Dusty said he was told the Sheriff’s Office’s previous cabinetry and printers could be used with the new
fingerprint machines. He said that is not true.
Dusty said the federal grant allows for a 1-year support contract. Dusty said the state is requiring
contracts moving forward.
Dusty said he would like to use funds the Sheriff’s Office already has allotted to cover those service fees
moving forward. The commissioners said they supported the idea. Commissioner Fund asked Dusty to
let Becky Butler know that the Sheriff’s Office would use existing funding to cover the expense.
