Commissioner Jackson discussed holding a Public Transportation Improvement Conference as a step
toward countywide transit.
Commissioner Jackson made a motion to call for Public Transportation Improvement Conference per
RCW 36.57a. Commissioner Stamper seconded.
The group discussed holding it the day of a Mayors’ Meeting. Commissioner Jackson said he would
speak with the PA’s office regarding requirements.
Motion passed 3-0.
The commissioners discussed their calendars.
Commissioners Fund, Jackson and Stamper said office staff no longer has to maintain a log for legal
publications.
Lee Napier arrived.
The group discussed upcoming Munis training, the need to alert the Budget office when office coverage
is needed, the upcoming purchase of a recording system, committee appointments, and David Fine’s
suggestions regarding the OPMA.
Wahkiakum County Commissioner Mike Beckham arrived at 4:10 p.m.
Commissioner Jackson left at 4:25 p.m. and returned at 4:29 p.m.
Rachel Hunt left at 4:31 p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 4:33 p.m.
