Tamara Hayes said a group has formed to review ideas for entertainment for the 2018 fair.
Pat said Titus Will Stage performers include a Beach Boys tribute band, American Idol contestant Bucky
Covington, up-and-comers Wilson Fairchild, Voice contestant Erika Corbin, Jackie Lee and ACDC cover
band Hell’s Belles.
The fair will include the reptile show, the clown show, the pirate show, camel rides, a WSP display, an
Air Force simulator.
Tamara said she is working with the Lewis County Museum to create an exhibit celebrating the 50th
anniversary of Little Miss Friendly.
Commissioner Jackson left at 2:54 p.m.
Tamara said she has spoken to a traveling rodeo out of Oregon and also has considered having the
county create its own rodeo.
Commissioner Jackson returned at 2:57 p.m.
Tamara said the rodeo will be held on Saturday night.
All three commissioners said they supported having the county head the rodeo itself.
Tamara said Bob Sobolesky has retired after 45 years.
Tamara said she is planning the barn dance for June 16. She said the Fair Association has been asked to
sponsor. She said Floodstock will take place July 13-14.
Tamara said the cold weather shelter was open 22 days in December, 10 days in January and a few days
in February.
Steve Walton said he has received from Centralia the application for annexation. He said he wants to
reach out to Chehalis and the Twin City Senior Center before the application is submitted.
Steve said the Fiscal Office remodel is moving forward.
Tamara said the new DLC employee, Isaac, has hit the ground running.
