West Girls Basketball 2A State Championship team. Notice items Erik Martin discussed a call for sealed bids for the 2018 Pulverization Project, CMP 15-1801. He said the roads for the project are in Paradise Estates in Ashford, Wash. Erik Martin discussed a Request for Proposals (RFP) for A&E professional services for design and engineering of upcoming grant funded fish passable structures. He said the projects are at Berwick Creek, the Newaukum and Middle Fork. Deliberation items Erik Martin discussed a resolution to ratify a consultant supplement over $40,000 for an active Public Works project. Lee Napier discussed a resolution to approve a fifth supplemental agreement between Kramer Consulting and Lewis County. Lee Napier discussed a resolution to approve an Eighth Supplemental to a Professional Services Agreement with French & Associates, LTD. Lee Napier discussed a resolution to approve Amendment #9 to Interagency Agreement, RCO# 15-1475, between the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) and Lewis County. Lee Napier discussed a resolution to approve a seventh supplemental agreement between SBGH- Partners LLC and Lewis County. TO-DO LIST / RECAP Rieva: Contact departments about their media lists. Danette York discussed a resolution to approve an interlocal agreement for Satellite Contract Services between Great Rivers Behavioral Health Organization and Lewis County. Archie Smith discussed a resolution to update of the Lewis County Employee Handbook. Commissioner Stamper made a motion to move one (1) proclamation, two (2) Notice items, two (2) Consent and seven (7) Deliberation items to the Monday, March 12, 2018, BOCC agenda. Commissioner Fund seconded the motion. Motion passed 2-0. Roundtable Archie thanked the group for attending HR’s meeting about the state’s new sick leave rules. He said he is preparing a memo regarding the changes. Archie said he also is working on an “onboarding” process for new hires. He said he also will be urging the use of employee mentors for new hires. Steve Wohld asked to have an “outgoing” process included. Archie said recruitment materials for the county manager have been sent out. Sheila Gray said office manager Kim Weiland is leaving at the end of the month. Steve Walton said Bob Sobolesky has retired after 45 years at the fairgrounds. He said progress is being made in the former Fiscal space. Becky Butler said the first budget amendment will be April 9. She asked department to turn in their requests quickly. Steve Wohld said IT is preparing to place its large computer order. He said the county saves about 30 percent by buying the computers all at once. Steve said a senior-level developer is leaving. Megan Sibbert said training begins the week of March 12. She said the production system will be ready by the end of March. Tawni Shepherd said Casey Mauermann continues to plug away at records requests. Danette York said Dr. Wood will be working on a monthly health column. Erik Martin said Laura Miller has been working to integrate CAMs and Munis. Lee Napier said Farm Bureau is planned for the evening. She said she also will meet with Realtors in the afternoon. Lee said she’ll be in Packwood on March 9. Steve Mansfield said he ran the quarterly test for Lewis County Alert on March 6. Commissioner Fund mourned the passing of Cy Meyers. She said she has asked Rieva Lester to work with departments on updating their media lists. Commissioner Fund discussed Gov. Inslee’s veto of the legislators’ public records bill. Erik Martin said work on the former Bonagofski property is nearing completion. Daleyn Coleman joined at 9:56 a.m. Becky discussed the state’s work regarding a possible levy refund. Meeting ended at 9:59 a.m.
