Tawni Shepherd said a settlement has been reached for LW 17-06 for $1.8 million, of which Attain is
paying $925,000 and will set aside $75,000, which could be returned to the Risk Pool. Tawni said the
Risk Pool is paying $875,000. She said the Risk Pool also will pay up to $5,000 for a guardian ad litem.
Tawni said the county has received two new complaints.
Tawni discussed a claims for damages out of Solid Waste. She said it is the second claim.
Commissioner Stamper joined at 1:38 p.m.
Casey said there are 334 open public disclosure requests. She also discussed updates to the website,
including a fill-in request form.
Casey said she will be out of the office in May. She said she will do a PDR presentation during Leadership
Academy. She said she plans a PDR “pow-wow” of sorts later in the week.
Commissioner Jackson left briefly at 1:50 p.m.
The group further discussed public disclosure requests.
