Eric Eisenberg said the ITA paralegal and the civil paralegal
positions have been filled. He said the lateral Family Support
move is taking place. Eric said the PA’s Office is deciding what
to do with his vacated civil DPA position.
Eric said the ITA lawyer has been hired but that both
proceedings will take place simultaneously, meaning a second
lawyer may need to be hired. Susie Parker said Cascade will
begin its proceedings soon.
Susie said one case has been local and the others have been transports. She said Cascade already is
fielding calls about space availability.
Susie said the reimbursement is $750 per case that goes to hearing.
Susie and Becky Butler said the agreement needs to be formalized. Eric suggested asking Jonathan
Meyer who could work on the resolution.
Susie left at 2:16 p.m.
Eric briefly discussed the possibility of regionalizing Family Support.
Eric said the PA’s Office and Auditor’s Office have asked for GIS mapping. He said GIS is paid for through
Roads. He discussed the possibility of billing for services and then also paying for GIS services.
Becky discussed the possibility of cost allocation plan.
Eric discussed GIS could do a modest amount of work in exchange for its use of HR, etc.
Eric said Jonathan is working on the PFD.
Rieva said she would look for the information about the Onalaska Water and Sewer District.
At 2:30 p.m., Commissioner Fund announced that the Board was going into Executive Session under
RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 31 minutes to discuss pending and potential litigation.
Executive Session ended at 3:01 p.m.
