Archie Smith gave an update on the county manager search.
He said the position is down to two local applicants. The group
discussed merging the interview panels if they’ll only be
interviewing two finalists.
Archie and Daleyn Coleman left at 9:21 a.m.
The group discussed the previous week’s broadband
technology meeting and how to move forward.
Commissioner Jackson said he and Candy Hallom met with
Dale Pullin the previous week. He said Dale wanted to have the .09 loan forgiven but that he told Dale
that could not take place.
The commissioners discussed membership dues. They said they did not plan to be Chamber of
Commerce members in 2018. Rieva Lester said NaCo also contacted the county about 2018
membership.
Commissioner Fund said she would like to draft a letter regarding Great Rivers Behavioral Health
Organization.
Commissioner Jackson asked Rieva to draft a letter to the Chamber regarding membership.
The commissioners discussed their calendars.
Commissioner Fund said the Auditor’s Office has updated the freeholder subdistrict maps.
