2018-06-19 Update with RiskUpdate with Risk June 19, 2018 1:33 p.m. Present: Commissioner Fund, Commissioner Jackson, Commissioner Stamper, Casey Mauermann, Wayne Whiton, Tawni Shepherd, Paulette Young Recorder: Rieva Lester Wayne Whiton outlined training plans for Tawni Shepherd, including ongoing WSIA trainings, the recent Prima National Conference as well as OSHA 511 and OSHA 10. Casey Mauermann outlined her training plans, including WAPRO in the fall and PRR training in Grays Harbor. She said she also recently attended a grant-writing workshop. Casey said she is working on the Joint Legislative Audit Review Committee (JLARC) report for public records. She said the report is due June 30. Casey said there are more than 310 open public records requests. Wayne discussed Emergency Action Plans. He said he would reach out to find out which jurisdiction would clear the buildings for use. Wayne said he has rolled out a heat illness plan. He said the Assessor’s Office is the first to undergo the training and come into compliance. Wayne said the Risk Pool conference is scheduled for July 18-20. Commissioner Stamper said he would not be available to attend. Wayne discussed upcoming rules regarding PTSD for law enforcement and firefighters that was signed into law June 13, 2018. Tawni gave an update on an L and I claim. Commissioner Jackson left at 2:09 p.m. and returned at 2:12 p.m. Meeting ended at 2:14 p.m.
