Steve Mansfield said two of three vacant Emergency Services
positions are being filled. He said Dave Anderson is stepping
down effective Aug. 30.
Commissioner Jackson said he’d like to talk with Dave
Anderson about whether he should remain on the State E911
Advisory Committee
Steve said the county is making good progress regarding
negotiations for the CBA.
ILA update: Chehalis will release its emergency services study
later in the day,
Steve discussed succession planning for Emergency
management.
Steve gave an update on his 2018 goals. He indicated he has provided an updated version of the
Continuity of Operations Plan.
Commissioner Jackson left at 10:46 a.m. and returned at 10:50 a.m.
Steve said the fire and law groups grant has been shifted to a program grant. He discussed funding for
future studies.
Commissioner Stamper left at 10:51 a.m.
Steve said fire services attended a mass casualty exercise at Providence Hospital.
Steve said he is working on conversions for the new river gauges.
