Commissioner Stamper made a motion to add the Vader-
Enchanted Valley reservoir construction project to the day’s
legislative agenda.
Commissioner Jackson seconded.
Motion passed 3-0.
The commissioners discussed the previous week’s fair.
Commissioner Jackson discussed revamping the sound stage to
improve acoustics.
The commissioners discussed a Board of Health letter that was sent regarding a slaughterhouse on
Koontz Road.
Commissioner Stamper and Erik Martin discussed the county’s contractor payment process.
Erik said Lee Napier plans to hire an interim airport manager before Larry Mason’s October departure.
He said Public Works would spearhead efforts to fill the permanent position after taking over.
The group discussed calendars.
Commissioner Stamper left at 9:38 a.m. and returned at 9:40 a.m.
Commissioner Jackson left at 9:45 a.m.
The group continued discussing calendars.
Commissioner Fund and Commissioner Stamper said Erik can sign routine personnel authorization forms
(PAFs) on behalf of the board.
Meeting ended at 9:52 a.m.
