Coroner Warren McLeod said there are four pending indigent cremations, bringing the year-to-date
total to 13.
Warren gave the following year-to-date statistics: 3 homicides, 13 suicides, 7 accidentals, 2
undetermineds and 18 pending.
Warren said the PA’s cold case team is looking at performing DNA genealogy testing on the skeletal
remains found on Peterman Hill in 2012. He said the skull may be sent to the FBI for facial recognition
software.
Warren said a four-day advanced buried body class is planned for October.

Warren discussed his mass fatality plan. He discussed a site in Kent, Wash., that would provide
transport, storage space and office space for a total charge of $260 per removal.
Warren said DNA from unidentifiable remains found off a forest service road will be sent to Oklahoma
for a cost of $500.
Warren discussed pathologist contracts for 2018 and 2019.
