Wayne Whiton began the meeting by giving an update on the success of the 2018 fair. He also
discussed the timeline for meetings for the 2019 fair in regards to incident response planning.
Additionally, Wayne discussed a need to move forward with Emergency Action Plans with an all
call instead of Lewis County Alert in addition to a conclusion follow up email or call for Lewis
County campus security threats and or emergencies.
Tawni Shepherd discussed worker’s compensation claims for 2018 compared to 2017. She also
mentioned a conference she will be attending this fall.
Casey Mauermann outlined new updates to the GOVQA program. She continued by discussing
that she has notified agencies that make frequent requests the new features are available.
Wayne gave an overview of the meeting with Jill from the Washington Risk Pool.
Commissioner Jackson left at 1:48 p.m.
The group discussed the differences in the state and county paint used on the roads
Brian Green asked about how many records requests are coming in and due to the
implementation of GOVQA if the response times shorted.
Erik Marin left the meeting at 1:52 p.m.
