Lee Napier discussed a notice of hearing for Ordinance 1292, which would change LCC 17.42 regarding zoning tables. Lee Napier discussed a notice of hearing for Ordinance 1293, which would amend Lewis County Code chapter 15.15. Tim Fife discussed a call for sealed bids for the 2017 Flexible Guidepost Project – Phase I, CRP 2185A, F.A. Project No. HSIP-000S(478), F.A. Contract No. TA-6329. Tim Fife discussed a resolution to accept an offer on tax title property located off Combs Road in Packwood. Tim Fife discussed a resolution to list the bids received and contractor selected for the East Lewis County Transfer Station Improvements, Project RESWEL. Tim Fife discussed a resolution to list the bids received and contractor selected for the Lewis County Central Transfer Station Repairs, Project No. RESWCT. Tim Fife discussed a resolution to declare certain vehicles as surplus county property and notice of intent to sell. Steve Walton discussed a resolution the Quarterly Declaration of Surplus Personal Property. He and Steve Wohld said the school district and Lewis County Seniors will receive the computers. Danette York discussed a hearing for Ordinance 1289, which would amend portions of Chapter 6.05 and Section 2.25.130 of the Lewis County Code, pertaining to Dangerous Animal Proceedings and Appeals. Commissioner Jackson made a motion to move one Presentation, three Notice items, two Consent items, five Deliberation items and one hearing to the Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, BOCC agenda. Commissioner Stamper seconded the motion. Motion passed 3-0. Roundtable Steve Walton invited the group to the Southwest Washington Fair, which kicks off Aug. 14. He said interviews would take place later in the day. Steve Mansfield said firefighters battled a blaze at Swofford Pond the previous day. Commissioner Jackson said some property owners are upset that the county has determined basketball hoops are not a nuisance. Erik Martin discussed Winlock’s reimbursement request for .09 funding. He said the county would work with Matt Matayoshi. Lee Napier invited the group to send advisory board members to an OPMA training session she’s planning with David Fine. Lee said she is working with GIS on Community Rating System (CRS) mapping. Danette York said a group will tour the animal shelter area later in the day to discuss possible building plans. Susan DeLaire left at 9:47 a.m. Wayne Whiton said $1,000 is the threshold for personal property. Steve Mansfield said Mike Kytta has developed an ICS plan. Becky Butler asked that ongoing costs for the animal shelter be considered. She said budget worksheets are due Aug. 13. She said the preliminary budget will be presented to the BOCC on Sept. 4. She said the board received fie applications for the citizen budget committee. She discussed paid the new FMLA deduction that takes effect Jan. 1, 2019. She also discussed PTSD, which will be included in workers’ comp. Steve Wohld said PC deployments continue. Commissioner Fund discussed the previous day’s Washington State Associated of Counties (WSAC) briefing. Meeting ended at 10:02 a.m.
