The Board will set up a meeting with PFD following Commissioner Stamper talking with Arny about the
Boards expectation and what is needed.
Communications- Commissioner Jackson expressed concerns regarding serial meetings regarding his
communication with Dennis Dawes and Commissioner Fund’s communication with Dennis Dawes. He
would like to make sure that they are not talking about the same subject with Mr. Dawes. The Board
will add this to discuss next week’s update with Mr. Martin.
The Board discussed the County Manager contract. Erik is asking for mediation in the contract rather
than arbitration. Erik would like to see the contract move forward and will accept what the Board
decides. The Board would like to see a copy of the draft from David Fine and would also like to see the
freeholder language that was added.
The Board discussed personnel and the airport manager position. Erik Martin asked the Board if they
would like him to take the lead on hiring the position or would like to provide input. The Board decided
they would like to have Commissioner Stamper represent them in the selection process.
Erik stated they are looking at shifting the Airport to Public Works from Community Development.
Erik discussed the need to start recruiting for a 911 Manager.
