Danette York discussed recognizing Jane Sheldon, who is retiring after 20 years of service as a Public
Health nurse.
Steve Mansfield discussed a resolution to approve a contract between the Washington State Military
Department and Lewis County for E911 Professional Development funding assistance.
Steve Mansfield discussed a resolution to approve a 10-year agreement between Motorola and the
Lewis County Department of Emergency Services for a Lifecycle maintenance agreement.
Commissioner Stamper joined at 9:09 a.m.
Bill Wamsley discussed a resolution to appoint Bob Taylor to the Noxious Weed Control Board.
Danette York discussed a resolution to approve Amendment A for the Local Homeless Reduction Plan
between Lewis County and Housing Resource Center.
Danette York discussed a resolution to approve contract Amendment #B between Lewis County and
Housing Resource Center to add funding for Rental Assistance Services.
HELD: Notice of hearing for Ordinance 1291, repealing Lewis County Code 15.30 Mobile Home Parks.
Commissioner Jackson made a motion to move two Consent items and five Deliberation items to the
Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Stamper seconded the motion.
Motion passed 3-0.

Erik Martin said he’ll meet with directors as a group in September.
Lee Napier thanked Steve Mansfield for his help with outreach.
Danette York said three kittens have been adopted so far from the fair. Danette thanked Steve Walton
and Steve Wohld for their help setting the animal shelter up for cashiering.
Becky Butler said she has received nearly all budgets from offices and departments.
Steve Walton said the tents have been a fantastic addition for the fair.
Steve Mansfield gave an update on the Miriam Fire near White Pass.
Wayne Whiton and Steve Walton left at 9:40 a.m.
