Commissioner Jackson recommended the commissioners send a letter of support for the L.E.W.I.S. Mountain Highway Transit. Commissioner Fund and Commissioner Stamper agreed to do so. Erik Martin said there are budget meetings scheduled for later in the week. Undersheriff Wes Rethwill and Chief Chris Sweet joined at 9:02 a.m. Undersheriff Rethwill and Chief Sweet discussed the pharmaceutical resolution with Omnicare, which they noted will provide cost savings for the county. They said the resolution will extend an existing contract. Undersheriff Rethwill and Chief Sweet left at 9:14 a.m. The commissioners said they would send a letter to the Citizens Budget Committee members. Wayne Whiton, Casey Mauermann and David Fine joined at 9:35 a.m. David Fine discussed a pending public records request regarding the State Auditor’s Office. The commissioners directed Wayne Whiton to follow standard procedure regarding the queue. Meeting ended at 9:43 a.m.
