2018-09-10 Update with County ManagerUpdate with County Manager September 10, 2018 11:02 a.m. Present: Commissioner Fund, Commissioner Jackson, Commissioner Stamper, County Manager Erik Martin, Lara McRea, Steve Walton Recorder: Rieva Lester Announcements Steve Walton said Ron Averill has asked the county to get involved regarding a property line dispute in Packwood. He said Ron is going to work with the Packwood Senior Center board and the Packwood Improvement Club. Steve said a truck, weed eaters and power tools were stolen from the fairgrounds the previous night. He said the truck was recovered a few miles down the road. Steve left at 11:13 a.m. Skookumchuck Wind Energy Erik Martin said Eric Eisenberg will review the draft response to the EIS later in the day. He said Karen Witherspoon hopes to have the letter complete the following day. Erik discussed the possibility of creating an expedited review process that would include agreed-upon additional fees, which he said he has seen other entities do. 911 Erik said he has spoken with Chehalis City Manager Jill Anderson regarding 911. Commissioner Fund said she spoke to Centralia City Manager Rob Hill. The group discussed the benefits of the interlocal agreement. Erik said he is coordinating with Jill for a follow-up meeting. Signature authority Lara McRea and Erik said they are working on a blanket signature authority. Lara asked if the board would like to add herself and Rieva Lester to the AP and payroll. The commissioners said yes. Commissioner Stamper left at 11:44 a.m. Office processes/procedures Lara said she is analyzing the office staff duties. She said she has asked staff to start writing up procedures for the tasks they perform. Meeting adjourned at 11:50 a.m.
