Commissioner Jackson made a motion to approve the
September 2018 minutes. Archie Smith seconded. Motion
passed.
Megan Sibbert said the go-live day for payroll in Munis has
been postponed until April 1.
Matt Hyatt and Ryan Kelso gave a presentation on the new GIS
web map. Matt said it is expected to roll out in November.
Janelle Lindsey joined at 8:40 a.m.
Becky Butler said the commissioners are reviewing 2019 budget requests.
Archie Smith discussed a Foster Farms FMLA case and its possible effect on local practices. He said the
employer can enroll an employee into FMLA if the employee is in a FMLA-qualified event. However, he
said, it’s possible the employer must do so.
The group discussed an upcoming state-mandated Paid Family Leave Act change, for which the
employee will pay 67 percent of four-tenths of 1 percent of their gross salary.
Janelle Lindsey said those who have not completed cybersecurity training will be locked out of their
emails beginning Oct. 26.
Danette York said Visiting Nurses is on-site hosting a flu clinic.
Steve Mansfield encouraged the group to participate in the Drop, Cover and Hold emergency drill
planned for 10:18 a.m. on Oct. 18. Wayne Whiton said an all-call phone drill will take place at 10:30 a.m.
on Oct. 30. Steve stressed the need for a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
