At 10 a.m., Commissioner Jackson announced that the Board was going into Executive Session under
RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 10 minutes to discuss pending litigation.
Executive Session ended at 10:10 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper made a motion for Eric to contact Mr. Green’s lawyer regarding a potential
settlement
Commissioner Fund seconded.
Motion passed 3-0.
Eric Eisenberg left at 10:12 a.m.
The group discussed the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. The board said to move forward with the
LTAC’s suggested allotment.
Commissioner Fund left at 10:17 a.m.
The group discussed a request for Discovery.
The group briefly discussed a proposed SR 504/Highway 12 link as well as a possible agreement between
the Port of Chehalis and the Chehalis School District for the renovation and repurposing of RE Bennett
and Cascade schools.
The group discussed their calendars.
Becky Butler joined at 10:32 a.m.
Becky said the county will be required to have an actuary study performed in 2019. She said the cost is
expected to be $30,000 or less. Commissioner Stamper and Commissioner Jackson approved.
