Erik Martin outlined the proposed plan for the BOCC office remodel.
Dr. Lindsey Pollock expressed concerns with the layout.
Commissioner Stamper joined at 11:15 a.m.
The group continued discussing the proposed office remodel. Commissioner Stamper voiced concerns
with the proposed blueprint.
The group briefly discussed the CFP’s proposed plans.
Doug Carey, Steve Walton and Matt Patana left at 11:31 a.m.
Becky Butler reviewed the PowerPoint presentation for the evening’s informational budget meeting.

Erik said Thurston County’s PUD director wants to gauge Lewis County’s interest in acquiring the water
system at Timberline, along with a few others Thurston County holds in Lewis County, including one in
Morton. Erik said the county may have to take over the Boistfort water system. The commissioners
agreed to have Erik explore the county’s options.
The group further discussed the office remodel as well as the need for furniture in the hearing room.
The group discussed possible meetings with the Board of Equalization and the Assessor’s Office.
Erik said he’d like to explore various pathways regarding 911: status quo, a shared authority (“E Board”)
and a Combined User Committee through Thurston County’s TComm. Commissioner Jackson said he’d
like to take the lead on the discussion.
Commissioner Jackson left at 12:20 p.m. and returned at 12:23 p.m.
Commissioner Fund said she met with Cowlitz County Commissioner Dennis Weber regarding the
SR 504-US Highway 12 proposal.
