Gary Fredricks introduced Master Gardener Jason Adams to the group.
Gary said 4-H held a Women in Ag event earlier in the month. He said he wants to add small farm
programs.
Commissioner Jackson joined at 10:38 a.m.
Gary said he plans to offer Leadership Academy training in the spring.
Rieva Lester left and Bill Wamsley took over as recorder at 10:39 a.m.
1. Budget – 2019 Weed Control. Update, program funding for Weed Control. Informational.
Commissioners inquired and discussed the public comment following the Public Hearing regarding the
Weed Assessment. Bill updated members about: 1) pending meetings with the other County Officials
about processing the assessment and new Fund, 1120 Weed Control; 2) outreach information to answer
questions from the public about the assessment.
2. Working with Home Owners Association, weed management. Informational The Commissioners were
updated about work with a local Home Owner Association about management of noxious weeds within
their community.
3. Education programs: Weed & brush control, Coached Planning Forest Stewardship Program, WSU-
Lewis Extension. Informational
