Becky Butler said the preliminary 2020 budget for the Fair budget includes revenues totaling $1,151,510
and expenditures totaling $1,169,593.
She said the preliminary 2020 budget for the Fair budget includes revenues and grants totaling $181,455
and expenditures totaling $162,955.
Tamara Hayes gave a presentation about the events and activities that take place at the fairgrounds.
Erik Martin discussed two Fair employees who currently are working out of class. Daleyn Coleman
explained that the two individuals are doing higher-class work. She noted reclassifying those positions
would have a minimal budgetary effect.
Tamara reviewed 2019 and 2020 revenue sources and expenses. She noted that the recent annexation is
expected to result in savings in utilities costs.
Pat Slusher said the entertainment budget has been cut in half versus the amounts paid five years ago.
He noted that despite the conservative approach, fair and concert attendance has increased.
The group discussed the many aspects of the fair and DLC.
