2019-10-28 Code Enforcement updateCode Enforcement update October 28, 2019 2:32 p.m. Present: Commissioner Jackson, Commissioner Stamper, Commissioner Fund, JP Anderson, John Abplanalp, Bill Teitzel Guest: Bob Russell Recorder: Rieva Lester Bill Teitzel discussed an ongoing case on Russell Road in Winlock. He said the Code Enforcement committee is meeting regarding a possible abatement. Bill asked for permission to ask the PA’s Office to begin a formal abatement process regarding the Russell Road property. The commissioners directed him to do so. 112 Faunrae Lane, Chehalis: Bill said a neighbor’s complaint has been determined to be unfounded. 229 Jeffries, Chehalis: Bill said solid waste and animal issues remain. He said there are several RVs parked along the roadway. Bob Russell shared his concerns regarding the problems with the property. Bill noted there also are concerns regarding avian influenza. Bill discussed his work with Ecology regarding the property. Bill said he will talk with the state to see if the state can help. Bob said he also will coordinate a “Stream Team” to discuss the matter. JP discussed a Mineral property on which a property owner is perturbed that the neighbor’s cows continue coming onto their property. JP and Bill said the property owner can take photos of the cows on their property and turn the photos in as evidence. JP left at 3:13 p.m. 145 Roberts Road, Chehalis: Bill said an unapproved wedding venue has opened at the site. 911 State Route 505, Toledo: Bill discussed an industrial hemp farm on the Toledo property. 3934 Jackson Highway, Chehalis: Bill said people are living in unpermitted mobile homes with failed septic systems. 0 Vista Way, Packwood: Bill said the individual has been cited twice. 120 Washington, Mineral: Bill said there are concerns about RVs, etc. 138 Shelton Road, Randle: Bill said the owner is contesting the civil citation. 200 Allman Road, Winlock: Bill said the woman is living in a portable shed and RV with no permits and no septic. 1099 Garrard Creek Road, Oakville: Property owner is working to comply with a critical areas violations involving wetlands. Meeting ended at 3:30 p.m.
