Warren McLeod gave the following year-to-date statistics: 661 deaths, of which four were homicides, 16
were suicides, 22 were accidental deaths, six were undetermined and one is pending.
Warren said he has been selected to serve as an auditor for the IACME accreditation process.
Warren said the Coroner’s Office has paid for 23 toxicology reports year to date, noting that the office
had budgeted for 30 toxicology tests for the year.
Warren said it appears that the Washington AG does not want to settle regarding the opioid litigation.
