Ken Taylor and Doug Hieronymus of the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) discussed
recent talks about possibly creating a mental health facility at Maple Lane.
Ken said he is submitting to the state a list of six possible sites for a mental health facility.
Ken discussed preventive measures taking place in Clark, Pierce and Spokane counties to create crisis
beds in an effort to prevent a cyclical rotation of needed care.
JP Anderson discussed crisis prevention already taking place in Lewis County.
Ken discussed a possible funding source linked to Trueblood et al v. Washington State DSHS.
Ken said the BCRA study will be available Jan. 13.
Erik Martin left at 10:59 a.m.
The group continued discussing the possibility of locating in Lewis County.
